Twitch almost misses the box at first. She goes zipping past to her destination, as always, determined to get there as fast as possible, but the sign catches her attention enough that she stops and backs up to read it. She shifts back into her root mode, but continues to hover.

"Any question?" she asks, muttering to herself as she places her feet back on the ground. "We'll see about that."

Stepping forward, the young bot bends down and knocks on the top of the box. "Hey box! Which issue did Laserbeak get lost in?"

There was an immediate muffled laugh from inside the box, followed by, "Loading noises! Hum hum hum, uhhhh computations!" Heatman drummed his fingers on the inside of his box. He didn't know who Laserbreak was or really what the question was referring to, but he knew the word issue meant problems, so...

"The issue Laserbeak had was that he didn't have a map! They should go get one, so they don't get lost next time! And maybe a sticker from miss Nickel for being brave about getting lost!" he added with a nod of his head that his visitor couldn't see.

He then pushed his head against the bottom of the lid of his box so that it lifted partway up, and smiled. "Did I trick you? Did I do a good job?"

That was a strange answer and it left Twitch more than confused.

"No, I meant like comic issue. Like in which comic did he get lost... but I guess you said you would give an answer and you sure did that so.... hm.... I guess that counts as tricking me. Good job!"

She gives him a BIG thumbs up. "I'm Twitch! Who are you?"

"I did? I did! Wait till I tell Snake I'm getting better at tricking people!" Heatman crinkled his optics and pressed a beaming smile into the edge of his box. He then gave her a big thumbs up right back.

"Hi, Twitch! Hi! My name is Heatman, or DWN-015! Nobody calls me that though, they call me Heat! Do you have numbers, too? Everybody does, right? It's part of you, like your foot or your language packs! Doctor Wily programmed me with the news, too, so I know important stuff! I still know the song from the beginning and end that goes dun dun dun, dun dun dun DO! Like that!"

Heat's energy is rather infectious and Twitch finds herself laughing.

"I don't have numbers. Do you think I should? I don't think Terrans have numbers like you do. Or even Cybertronians. I've only ever heard them have names like Twitch and Hashtag and Optimus and Megatron."

She leans in a little closer, floating off the ground. "A doctor made you? I was created when Robby and Mo touched the Emberstone! I'm a Terran! So like a Cybertronian, but if they were born on Earth!"

BIG SURPRISED GASP

Heat laughed along with Twitch, then tipped his head beneath his lid thoughtfully. "If you don't already, you could pick one if you wanted, lots of people get nicknames so you could have a number name? Like, um. Twitch looks like 731754? But you need stuff before that, like DWN means Doctor Wily Number, so... DRMN-731754? Doctor Robby Mo Number?"

Heat then gaped with wide optics then telescoped his arms and legs back out of his box so he could clap his hands properly. "I was made on Earth, too, but not with a rock. All of us robot masters were unless I'm wrong and maybe there's some of us from space? But! Uh-huh! His name is Doctor Wily and he's a roboticist, which is a cist that knows how to design robots!"

He patted his hands on his legs. "Do you know mister Optimus? The really really tall one with the axe? He said he'll bring me to a place soon where I can see a big puddle like I did the time I got to go outside the lab! That's exciting! And maybe the big shiny thing that isn't a lamp again! And birds! I know what a bird is, I draw them sometimes, they look like the letter V!"

Twitch was more than happy to jump at the chance to be included in something. And to get a cool new nickname like DRMN-731754? Count her in! Might be a bit to remember and even more of a mouthful, but that was okay, it was hers.

She's a little startled by his gasp and looks around a moment for danger only to realize he was excited, not scared.

"I don't know if it's the same Optimus, but he does have an axe! Do you mean like the ocean? I've heard of the ocean, but I've never actually seen it yet. Or maybe it's just a lake. Those are like huge puddles but smaller than the ocean. And birds are cool! I would go out and name birds with my family. We lived in the woods on a farm so we saw birds all the time-- wait, are you saying you've only been outside one time?!"

Heat wiggled happily at the barrage of responses to his own previous barrage, this was wonderful this was exactly how his mind worked!

"Maybe! Maybe! He said his axe was extra really special and he needed it, and we told jokes! And... maybe? I dunno. How can you tell the difference if they're both really big, do you just start walking around the edge and you get tired and you say, 'I walked a whole million minutes and it's not over yet so it's an ocean'? And-"

He then blinked, and at the same time as Twitch asked if he'd only been outside once, he asked, "You live in the woods? Like where there's ten whole trees? How do you not get lost, do you climb the trees or- oh, you fly. So do you fly to the tree then climb it, or-"

Wait, she was asking a question.

"Um? Yes?" He held up his fingers and began to count off on them. "I was activated and learned how to exist and then I got to leave the lab and go to the factory I stole and then the um, the thing happened, and then I came here!" He blinked at the four fingers he now held up, then looked back up at Twitch. "That's once. Is that bad? Should it have been less than once? I think if you go outside zero times that's the same as being in the lab every day ever only said nicer."

Twitch settled back down onto her feet. They could address all that stuff about oceans and flying and stuff later.

"It should be more than once! There is so much outside to explore! There are more than ten trees! And then there are lots of bird and other animals and so much room to move around and do things and the sun and the sky and cows and the moon!" She throws up her hands as she talks, her rotors picking up and lifting her off the ground again. She's loud, somewhere between excitedly telling Heat about all the cool things you can find outside and in an absolute upset about the fact that he hadn't experienced any of it.

Heat's optics went wide, and he stared at Twitch with his mouth parted. "All those things are outside? How do you go back inside at all if there's all these things to look at and see and notice? What are cows? What's the moon? Is it like spoons?"

He patted his legs excitedly, beaming up at Twitch as she flew around. "Mister Optimus said he'd take me to some lab inside that doesn't sound like a regular lab to me but I don't remember why, but he said it when we were talking about outside so maybe when you go inside it's actually outside?"

"They're kind of like... well... a cow is... the moon.... It's not like spoons." She's not so much struggling to keep up as she is trying to find the words to describe things that no one has ever seen before. He was from earth though, wasn't he? It kind of sounded like it, though a different earth.

Twitch crossed her arms thoughtfully. "Maybe he meant a lab with plants? I don't remember what it's called though.... OH! I know! I can show you! Come with me!" She jumps up and flips into her drone mode, making a little dip towards him before flying off down the hall, only to pause to make sure he's following.
